Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring an Associate Engineer β Test to join its Software Test Engineering team in Bangalore. Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, developing, and modifying test cases to validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, and application features.

Implement basic test plans, scenarios, and scripts to identify software defects and functional gaps within specific modules.

Write and execute functional test cases to ensure product features perform according to defined specifications.

Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to analyze defects, reproduce issues, and support resolution efforts.

Document test results, defect logs, and validation reports to maintain transparency and traceability within the testing lifecycle.

Support the development of automation scripts and test case automations to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

Participate in team discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Follow established software testing processes, compliance standards, and engineering best practices.

Contribute to validating system performance and ensuring stable integration of features before product releases.

Continuously learn and apply new testing methodologies, tools, and automation techniques to enhance overall productivity.
Requirements & Eligibility:

Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field with strong programming fundamentals.

Basic understanding of software testing concepts including functional testing, regression testing, and defect lifecycle management.

Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java for writing test scripts and automation support.

Knowledge of embedded systems, cloud software environments, or system algorithms will be an added advantage.

Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and recommend effective solutions.

Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and document findings clearly.
