Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Develop and maintain software solutions using C# .NET, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with team members in pair programming and Agile environments to deliver high-quality and efficient solutions.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, and system tests, to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards, identify potential issues, and promote best practices within the development team.
- Work with DevOps teams to deploy applications, monitor system performance, and ensure that defined performance metrics are achieved.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software defects by analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and implementing effective fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices and solutions.
- Apply analytical thinking to solve moderately complex technical problems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong academic background.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software development, particularly with C# .NET technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, including deployment and monitoring of applications.
- Experience in writing unit tests and understanding of testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and development best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex software issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards such as DICOM is a plus, especially for projects related to medical imaging.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced technology environment.
Expected Salary:
The expected salary for a Software Engineer I at Philips in India typically ranges between ₹7 LPA to ₹14 LPA, depending on experience, technical expertise, and interview performance.
