Harmonic is hiring an Associate QA Engineer in Bengaluru to support its cutting-edge broadband and video delivery solutions. This hybrid role is ideal for recent graduates in Electronics and Communication Engineering who are passionate about embedded systems testing and next-generation connectivity technologies. As part of the devices System team, you will contribute to end-to-end product quality assurance, ensuring that software and hardware components function seamlessly in real-world deployment environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end functional testing of embedded software and hardware systems.

• Execute existing test plans and validate feature functionality in Agile environments.

• Identify, document, and debug failures across integrated SW/HW setups.

• Collaborate with device development and QA engineers to analyze defects and verify fixes.

• Conduct system-level testing for networking devices and embedded platforms.

• Validate functional behavior of products under different operating conditions.

• Support regression testing and ensure stability across firmware and software updates.

• Use debugging tools and scripting techniques to assist in failure analysis.

• Maintain clear documentation of test cases, issues, and verification results.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.

Requirements & Eligibility

• B.Tech/BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2024 or 2025 pass-outs only).

• Minimum 70% academic score with no backlogs.

• Knowledge of Layer 3 networking protocols and basic networking fundamentals.

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems (preferred).

• Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash (advantage).

• Strong analytical and debugging skills for embedded systems environments.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

• Ability to work in a hybrid model (3–4 days per week from Bengaluru office).

• High motivation to work in broadband, OTT, and networking technology domains.
