Job Description

GE HealthCare is looking for highly motivated Trainee Engineers to join its manufacturing and engineering team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on supporting the manufacturing and process engineering functions for advanced healthcare imaging technologies. You will be directly involved in equipment calibration, validation, verification, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help resolve production challenges, manage quality issues, and contribute to lean manufacturing practices. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the Power Electronics and RF Coil manufacturing line, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Resolve quality issues on the production line by coordinating with engineers and technicians.

  • Ensure timely completion of equipment calibration activities and maintain accurate reports.

  • Conduct verification and validation processes for equipment and production workflows.

  • Prepare validation and verification reports in line with established procedures.

  • Support equipment installation, maintenance, and ordering of tools or spare parts.

  • Handle non-conforming material reports, ensuring daily and weekly clearance.

  • Collaborate with supplier quality engineering teams to resolve material rejections.

  • Assist in preparing and updating work instructions, device history records, and revision histories.

  • Communicate engineering changes effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Train the manufacturing workforce on updates to processes or work instructions.

  • Contribute to problem-solving initiatives, productivity improvements, and cost optimization projects.

  • Support Lean Action Workouts and Kaizen projects to enhance efficiency across production lines.

  • Maintain inventory of capital goods with proper traceability and documentation.

  • Participate in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) initiatives to ensure workplace safety.


Requirements & Eligibility

  • Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering fields.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate across teams.

  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues.

  • Knowledge of equipment calibration, validation processes, and quality systems is desirable.

  • Ability to document processes, prepare reports, and follow standard operating procedures.

  • Project management exposure or coursework is an added advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach.

  • Openness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration.
