Are you an experienced QA Tester who’s passionate about delivering bug-free, user-friendly software? Paragon is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to strengthen our software quality assurance team. In this role, you’ll drive manual testing efforts while contributing to automation for regression and integration coverage. You'll collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure high-quality releases.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✅ Manual Testing

  • Execute functional, regression, and integration tests based on well-defined test plans.

  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability and performance issues.

  • Log, document, and manage defects via tools like JIRA or TestRail.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user stories and business logic.

  • Conduct sanity checks and ensure releases meet quality expectations.

🤖 Basic Automation

  • Support in maintaining automated regression test suites (using Selenium, Cypress, etc.).

  • Execute and debug automation scripts to supplement manual coverage.

  • Work closely with the automation team to embed automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

📝 Test Documentation

  • Write detailed test cases, test plans, and test result reports.

  • Maintain traceability across user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.

🤝 Collaboration

  • Actively participate in scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.

  • Partner with developers to resolve bugs at every stage of SDLC.

  • Provide valuable feedback to enhance product stability and test effectiveness.

💡 What You Need to Succeed

✔️ Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in manual software testing.

  • Familiarity with basic test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

  • Strong knowledge of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA best practices.

  • Proficiency in writing test cases, executing test scenarios, and reporting bugs.

  • Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

  • Understanding of version control systems and test environments.

  • Sharp attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Working knowledge of Git or similar VCS.

  • Ability to run basic SQL queries for database validation.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
