Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for wireless networking features, applications, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and related scripting technologies to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Analyze test outcomes, identify software defects, investigate inconsistencies, and document performance-related issues effectively.
• Reproduce customer-reported issues and system-level defects within controlled lab environments for debugging and root cause analysis.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networking lab setups including routers, switches, wireless access points, and connected infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, system engineers, and platform teams to resolve technical issues and validate product fixes.
• Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system validation activities to ensure product reliability and software stability.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and other automation technologies to improve testing productivity.
• Monitor application and system performance while validating networking protocols, wireless communication behavior, and feature functionality.
• Participate in debugging sessions, log analysis, and troubleshooting activities to identify root causes of system failures and software defects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, automation processes, and quality engineering methodologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports, issue summaries, and validation procedures for engineering and support teams.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, automation engineering, or networking-related technical roles.
• Strong programming and scripting fundamentals with hands-on experience in Python or similar scripting languages used for automation.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing protocols, switching fundamentals, and network communication.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and automation testing.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving abilities in software and networking environments.
• Understanding of wireless networking technologies including Wi-Fi standards, 802.11 protocols, and wireless communication basics.
• Exposure to networking hardware such as routers, switches, and access points through academic projects, internships, or practical lab experience.
• Familiarity with setting up small-scale network environments, configuring devices, and testing connectivity across systems.
• Interest in AI-enabled engineering practices and experience using AI-powered productivity tools for coding, testing, or automation support.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
• Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent networking certifications will be considered an added advantage for this role.
