Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Data Analytics Associate to join its advanced analytics team, BCG X A&A. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global consulting teams on a wide spectrum of analytics projects across industries such as retail, healthcare, telecom, and consumer goods. As a Data Analytics Associate, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge analytical methodologies and real-world business challenges, delivering impactful insights that shape client strategies. Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with case teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions that address client business challenges.

Translate business problems into structured analytics frameworks, applying statistical models, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.

Build and maintain high-quality dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

Work with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) to develop and scale analytics solutions, including AutoML implementations.

Conduct data mining, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights used in client engagements.

Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner through presentations, dashboards, and storytelling.

Support proposals, proof-of-concepts, and sales initiatives by creating analytics-based collateral and client-ready material.

Mentor and guide junior team members in analytics techniques, coding practices, and visualization standards.

Lead or co-lead analytics modules within projects, taking ownership of deliverables and ensuring quality standards.

Contribute to intellectual property (IP) development by creating reusable frameworks, documentation, and internal best practices.
Requirements & Eligibility

Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

2β4 years of relevant industry experience in data analytics, preferably in consulting or professional services.

Hands-on expertise in Python (mandatory), SQL (mandatory), and at least one additional programming language (R, SAS, or PySpark).

Strong knowledge of statistical concepts (hypothesis testing, regression, clustering, time-series forecasting) and their business applications.

Experience with machine learning algorithms such as logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, boosted models, and clustering methods.

Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for translating data into clear insights.

Familiarity with big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop), ML deployment tools (Airflow, MLflow, Docker), and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Previous experience in sectors such as Retail, CPG, Healthcare, or Telecom will be an added advantage.
