Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, gather functional needs, and develop automation solutions that improve workflow efficiency across regional and global operations.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, measure business performance, and provide actionable insights that enhance the experience of riders, drivers, and internal operations teams.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured JavaScript code that supports policy implementation, process automation, and operational system enhancements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated workflows that streamline city-level, regional, and global operational processes while improving productivity and scalability.
• Work extensively with SQL databases to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and validate operational data required for business reporting and strategic decision-making.
• Handle JSON data structures and integrate data from multiple sources to support automation workflows and backend operational systems.
• Coordinate with Community Operations teams across multiple geographical regions to evaluate the effectiveness of newly introduced products, policies, and operational processes.
• Measure the business impact of automation initiatives and process improvements using analytical techniques, performance metrics, and operational reporting.
• Support the implementation of scalable operational policies by collaborating with developers, analysts, and cross-functional business teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate project updates, analytical findings, and operational recommendations clearly with internal stakeholders while maintaining strong documentation standards.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies, business requirements, and evolving operational priorities while contributing innovative ideas that improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Work effectively with distributed global teams across multiple time zones while maintaining strong collaboration, accountability, and project ownership.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation year of 2025 from a recognized university or institution.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases, analyzing datasets, and generating meaningful business insights through structured data analysis.
• Good programming knowledge in JavaScript with the ability to develop automation scripts, process logic, and maintain efficient code.
• Familiarity with JSON data structures and experience manipulating structured data for automation, integration, or application development purposes.
• Basic understanding of relational databases, database management concepts, and data retrieval techniques using SQL queries.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the capability to evaluate business challenges and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and global operations teams.
• Strong organizational skills, stakeholder management abilities, and the capability to manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams across different time zones while maintaining productivity, collaboration, and effective communication.
• Quick learner with a proactive mindset, strong curiosity for technology, and the ability to rapidly understand new tools, business processes, and operational systems.
• Prior academic projects, internships, or practical exposure to data analytics, automation, SQL, JavaScript, business intelligence, or operations analysis will be considered an added advantage.

Expected Salary

The expected stipend for a Data Analytics Intern at Uber India typically ranges between ₹50,000 and ₹90,000 per month, depending on the internship program, educational background, technical assessment performance, and interview outcomes.
