In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test strategies and automation frameworks that ensure product reliability and performance. You will work across web, desktop, and mobile platforms, focusing on building scalable automation solutions using tools like Playwright and Selenium. The role requires a deep understanding of testing principles such as the testing pyramid and emphasizes a shift-left approach, ensuring quality is embedded early in the development lifecycle.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to validate frequent product releases, identify defects, and improve overall system quality. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans to ensure high product quality.
- Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and develop scalable automation scripts using modern frameworks.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated test suites for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Collaborate with developers to implement shift-left testing practices and improve early defect detection.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing to validate frequent product releases.
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to improve system reliability.
- Ensure a strong focus on user experience by validating application performance and usability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with business and product goals.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in automation testing and quality engineering.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in QA or automation testing, preferably in product-based organizations.
- Hands-on experience in testing web, desktop, and/or mobile applications.
- Strong expertise in automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium for building test frameworks.
- Good understanding of testing strategies, including the testing pyramid and shift-left methodologies.
- Ability to analyze defects, identify root causes, and improve overall product quality.
- Strong programming and scripting skills relevant to automation testing frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective collaboration.
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and user experience.
- Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to learning and adopting new tools and technologies in testing.
