Job Description:

Valeo is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring engineers to join as an AI Intern in Chennai within its R&D division. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing AI and machine learning models for automotive and engineering applications.
• Work with datasets to preprocess, analyze, and extract meaningful insights for AI model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Support research activities by exploring new AI algorithms, tools, and methodologies.
• Participate in testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Contribute to documentation of AI models, processes, and project outcomes for future reference.
• Assist in optimizing AI models for performance, scalability, and real-time applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the AI and R&D teams.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, Mechanical, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, with experience in libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with data analysis, data preprocessing, and statistical techniques.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving approaches.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to work on complex problems.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Interest in automotive systems, robotics, or intelligent systems is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and project requirements.
• Self-motivated attitude with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Expected Salary:

The expected stipend for an AI Intern at Valeo in Chennai typically ranges between ₹15,000 to ₹40,000 per month, depending on the candidate’s academic background, technical skills, and project involvement.
