Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new features and product releases. Ensure all critical workflows are validated thoroughly.

• Perform manual testing of UI components and backend APIs across web applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance meet expectations.

• Validate end-to-end workflows to ensure system stability, reliability, and seamless user experience across multiple product components.

• Identify edge cases, failure scenarios, and usability gaps by thinking from a real user perspective. Proactively detect potential risks in the product.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with testing strategies.

• Report, document, and track bugs, regressions, and product issues with clear reproduction steps and detailed analysis.

• Participate in release cycles and regression testing to ensure that new updates do not impact existing functionalities.

• Contribute to improving QA processes, frameworks, and testing methodologies to enhance overall product quality.

• Assist in API testing using tools such as Postman to validate backend services and data flows.

• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and testing approaches to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong fundamentals in software systems are essential.

• Solid understanding of software testing concepts, including Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Hands-on experience in manual testing across UI and API testing environments. Familiarity with tools like Postman is highly preferred.

• Ability to design clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on product requirements.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail to identify complex bugs and edge cases effectively.

• Understanding of real user behavior, workflows, and usability principles to ensure a seamless product experience.

• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Exposure to automation testing concepts or tools is an added advantage, supporting future scalability of QA processes.

• Experience working in startup environments or fast-moving product teams is preferred, demonstrating adaptability and ownership.

• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.
