Job Description
BYLD Group is hiring an Associate QA Engineer to join its growing technology team in Gurugram. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications across web and mobile platforms. The Associate QA Engineer will play a critical role in validating system functionality, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet business and user requirements before deployment.
The position involves working closely with development teams and QA professionals to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies. The engineer will be responsible for creating test cases, executing manual and automated tests, and ensuring complete test coverage across different application modules. With exposure to both web and Android applications, the role requires hands-on experience in regression testing, system testing, and performance validation. The candidate will also use testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JMeter to enhance testing efficiency and ensure application stability.
In addition to testing responsibilities, the role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement. The Associate QA Engineer will analyze functional requirements, reproduce complex issues, and provide detailed reports to development teams. By participating in Agile workflows and coordinating with team members, the engineer contributes to delivering high-quality software solutions. Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with QA and development teams to design effective testing strategies and comprehensive test plans for software applications.

Analyze functional requirements and translate them into detailed test cases and test scenarios for thorough validation.

Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure application functionality, performance, and reliability.

Perform regression testing on web and Android applications to ensure that new updates do not impact existing features.

Identify, document, and report bugs and issues to development teams, ensuring timely resolution of defects.

Conduct system testing to validate application scalability, performance, and stability under different conditions.

Perform performance testing using tools such as JMeter and generate detailed performance reports.

Reproduce complex issues in testing or live environments and document findings for further analysis and resolution.

Maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and quality assurance processes for future reference.

Participate in post-release testing and ensure that applications function correctly after deployment.
Requirements & Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2 to 4 years of experience in software testing with exposure to both manual and automation testing.

Strong understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and software testing lifecycle.

Experience in writing and executing test cases and analyzing application behavior.

Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium and Appium for web and mobile testing.

Knowledge of regression testing and experience testing web and Android applications.

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter for load and stress testing.

Working knowledge of SQL and test management tools for data validation and test case tracking.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
