📋 Role Overview

This is an entry-level QA / Software Testing role where you will help test applications and ensure software quality.

You will work with senior QA engineers to:

• Create test cases and test scenarios

• Perform manual and automated testing

• Execute tests and analyze results

• Identify bugs and report defects

• Maintain test reports and quality metrics

The role focuses on functional testing, API testing, and automation support.

🧑‍💻 Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement review and sprint planning

• Convert requirements into test cases and scripts

• Perform manual testing and automated testing

• Run test sessions and analyze results

• Report defects and perform root cause analysis

• Maintain test environments and automation scripts

• Generate test reports and metrics

• Work with developers to improve software quality

🎓 Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree:

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Related field

• Experience:

  • 0–2 years in software testing or QA

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

• Certified Test Engineer

💰 Expected Salary (India – Entry Level QA)

Typical range for 0–2 years QA Engineer in Pune:

• ₹4 LPA – ₹8 LPA

Product companies or healthcare tech companies may offer slightly higher.

• Knowledge of Selenium automation
