Job Description
Texas Instruments is hiring a Test Engineer to join its semiconductor engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will work on testing and validation of highly integrated motor driver devices used in rapidly growing markets such as automotive, industrial electronics, and power management systems. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that semiconductor products meet strict performance, reliability, and quality standards before they reach mass production. The position offers an opportunity to work closely with design engineers and product teams in the development of cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
The role focuses on developing and executing testing strategies for mixed-signal integrated circuits and motor driver devices. You will create detailed test plans, develop test programs, and design hardware interfaces for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) platforms. The work involves debugging silicon devices, validating performance characteristics, and correlating results with laboratory measurements. Through data analysis and validation activities, you will help ensure that semiconductor devices perform reliably under different operating conditions.
Additionally, the Test Engineer will support product engineering tasks such as yield improvement, failure analysis, and optimization of test procedures to reduce manufacturing costs and improve efficiency. You will collaborate with production teams to release validated products into large-scale manufacturing. By working across design, testing, and manufacturing teams, you will contribute to delivering robust and cost-effective semiconductor solutions that power modern electronics worldwide.
Roles & Responsibilities
