HTC – SAP Testing (Tricentis Tosca)

Job Description:

HTC is seeking an experienced SAP Testing professional with strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca to join its onsite team in Bangalore. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of SAP applications through structured and automated testing strategies. As a SAP Testing specialist, you will work closely with functional consultants and technical teams to translate business requirements into detailed test scenarios. Your contribution will directly support enterprise digital transformation initiatives by delivering defect-free SAP solutions that align with operational goals and compliance standards.

In this position, you will take ownership of end-to-end SAP testing, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance validation. Leveraging Tosca Tricentis automation capabilities, you will develop and maintain reusable test scripts that enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts. This role is critical in minimizing business risks by conducting risk-based testing and ensuring optimal system performance across SAP modules. Your ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and validate solutions against real-world requirements will play a vital role in successful SAP deployments.

Beyond execution, the role demands continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks. You will help identify automation opportunities, optimize test coverage, and ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices throughout the testing lifecycle. By driving automation initiatives and maintaining detailed documentation, you will contribute to faster release cycles, improved software reliability, and enhanced enterprise productivity.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and technical teams to analyze business requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios and automation scripts. Ensure clarity and completeness in requirement understanding.

2. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for SAP modules, ensuring maximum test coverage and accuracy. Continuously refine scripts for efficiency and scalability.

3. Perform end-to-end testing including integration, regression, functional, and performance testing to validate SAP system stability across environments.

4. Identify, log, track, and report defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution and re-validation of fixes.

5. Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation such as test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, and test coverage matrices.

6. Conduct risk-based testing to prioritize high-impact business functionalities and minimize operational disruptions during deployments.

7. Work closely with business stakeholders to validate system outputs and confirm alignment with user expectations and compliance requirements.

8. Drive automation initiatives by identifying manual testing gaps and implementing Tosca automation frameworks to improve release velocity.

9. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and support defect resolution efforts.

10. Continuously improve QA processes by adopting best practices, enhancing automation strategies, and leveraging advanced Tosca capabilities.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A strong academic background in software testing or enterprise systems is preferred.

2. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing across SAP modules such as SAP FICO, MM, SD, or HCM.

3. Strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca automation tool, including test case design, automation framework development, and execution management.

4. Solid understanding of SAP architecture, business processes, and enterprise workflows to ensure accurate test scenario development.

5. Experience in defect management tools and test management platforms, along with knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

6. Proven ability to design and execute risk-based testing strategies that focus on critical business functionalities.

7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and recommend effective testing solutions.

8. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and business users.

9. Knowledge of performance testing concepts and exposure to SAP automation best practices will be an added advantage.

10. Ability to work onsite in Bangalore and collaborate effectively within enterprise-level project environments.

Expected Salary:

For a SAP Testing professional with 5+ years of experience in Bangalore, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹8 LPA to ₹14 LPA depending on expertise in Tricentis Tosca automation, SAP module exposure, and project complexity. Candidates with strong automation frameworks and enterprise SAP implementation experience may receive higher compensation aligned with market benchmarks in the IT services sector.
