Job Overview

Capgemini is looking for experienced Java Selenium Automation Engineers to join on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in UI and API automation, framework design, CI/CD integration, and database validation.

This role requires strong debugging capability, automation framework development skills, and experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java & Selenium WebDriver.

  2. Design and implement scalable automation solutions from scratch.

  3. Perform API automation testing using suitable frameworks.

  4. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab).

  5. Perform database validations using SQL queries.

  6. Execute regression, smoke, and integration test suites.

  7. Debug automation failures and improve script stability.

  8. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.

  9. Maintain test reports and support release cycles.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong expertise in Java

  • Selenium WebDriver

  • TestNG / BDD frameworks

  • Maven build tool

  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitLab)

  • Git version control

  • Strong SQL knowledge

  • API testing experience

  • Agile/Scrum methodology

Experience & Salary

  • Experience: 3–8 years

  • Pay Rate: ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month (₹12 LPA – ₹24 LPA approx., depending on experience and negotiation)

  • Experience working in enterprise-level CI/CD environments.

  • Comfortable in client-facing or collaborative team setups.
