Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in creating, reviewing, and maintaining detailed test plans and structured test cases aligned with product requirements and user stories. Ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional aspects.

2. Execute manual testing processes including regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate system behaviour and detect defects early.

3. Run automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Pytest, ensuring repeatable and scalable test coverage across builds and releases.

4. Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools, providing clear reproduction steps and impact analysis for faster resolution.

5. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements, resolve bugs, and improve overall product quality.

6. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings to provide QA insights and highlight potential risks.

7. Contribute to regression testing cycles before product releases, ensuring that new features do not impact existing functionality.

8. Continuously learn and apply modern QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and testing tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.

9. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements, automation opportunities, and quality benchmarks.

10. Maintain detailed documentation of test results, quality metrics, and testing reports for transparency and audit readiness.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, demonstrating foundational knowledge in software development concepts.

2. 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including internships or academic project exposure in manual or automation testing.

3. Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies including regression testing, functional testing, and basic test case design principles.

4. Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Pytest is preferred, with willingness to build hands-on automation expertise.

5. Basic understanding of QA processes, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect lifecycle management.

6. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in identifying root causes of defects.

7. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly document test findings.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.

9. Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to contribute beyond assigned responsibilities in a collaborative culture.

10. Interest in building a long-term career in Quality Assurance and software testing within product-based companies.

Expected Salary:
