Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React JS, JavaScript, and Spring Boot.

• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST APIs and develop efficient, scalable microservices-based systems.

• Implement UI components using modern frameworks such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and SCSS for a rich user experience.

• Utilize Context API and Redux Toolkit for state management and seamless data flow in complex React applications.

• Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code quality.

• Participate in agile sprints, code reviews, and daily stand-ups while adhering to best coding and documentation practices.

• Work with Node.js to manage backend integration, performance optimization, and server-side logic implementation.

• Contribute to DevOps initiatives by supporting CI/CD processes through tools like Maven, Gradle, or Ant.

• Collaborate on containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes as part of cloud-native development.

• Ensure adherence to Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) principles and Birlasoft’s security guidelines.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field.

• 0 to 1 year of hands-on programming experience in React JS and JavaScript.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture with good database understanding (MySQL preferred).

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and front-end optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with MFE architecture, Context API, Redux Toolkit, and React Testing Library.

• Exposure to Node.js, Docker, and cloud computing concepts (PCF or Kubernetes preferred).

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps processes, and version control using Git.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with a results-driven mindset.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective collaboration.

• A proactive learner with a positive attitude and passion for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.

Expected Salary:

The expected salary for an Application Developer at Birlasoft in India typically ranges between ₹3.5 LPA to ₹6 LPA, depending on educational background, technical expertise, and project assignment. Fresh graduates with strong JavaScript and Java skills may start in the mid-range, while candidates with full-stack or DevOps exposure could earn at the higher end of this bracket.
