As an Associate Software Development Engineer, you’ll engage in end-to-end software development — from design and coding to testing and optimization. You will work closely with product architects, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to deliver high-performance applications and productivity tools. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software components, frameworks, and applications that enhance cybersecurity analytics and automation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, backend, and DevOps engineers to deliver secure and high-quality software solutions.

• Analyze user needs and system requirements to design efficient, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.

• Participate in the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring code quality through static and dynamic analysis tools.

• Develop, test, and optimize APIs and backend integrations with JSON and database interactions.

• Contribute to design and development discussions around component libraries such as Material-UI, Chakra UI, or Storybook.

• Utilize CI/CD tools to automate deployment and streamline the software release process.

• Support incident resolution and respond to real-time customer or client requests as required.

• Engage in continuous learning, performance tuning, and refactoring to improve software reliability and maintainability.

• Document software components, workflows, and best practices for internal teams.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Strong understanding of JSON, data structures, and backend communication models.

• Hands-on experience in software debugging, problem-solving, and code optimization.

• Familiarity with frontend component libraries like Material-UI, Chakra UI, or Storybook.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and software profiling tools.

• Knowledge of secure coding standards, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cybersecurity best practices.

• Understanding of cybersecurity analytics platforms or cloud-based applications is an added advantage.

• Excellent collaboration, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn, innovate, and work on modern, AI-driven cybersecurity technologies.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary for the Associate Software Development Engineer role at Trellix typically ranges between ₹6 LPA to ₹12 LPA in India, depending on experience, skills, and technical expertise.
