Job Description
As an Analyst at eClerx Financial Markets in Mumbai, you will play a vital role in supporting investment banking operations and ensuring smooth execution of trade lifecycle activities. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Identify and escalate operational risks, promptly reporting outstanding issues to clients and management.

2. Perform trade support activities across the Trade Lifecycle, including confirmation matching and pre-settlement checks.

3. Manage reconciliations between front-office and back-office trade positions and ensure accuracy of financial records.

4. Handle the operations of syndicated loans and the setup of corporate actions within the system.

5. Support regulatory reporting, including SDR, KYC, and various front-office and back-office reconciliations.

6. Generate reports and manage settlements of cash flows arising from trading events such as interest or premium payments.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute tasks within defined timelines and maintain high-quality standards.

8. Learn and master financial products including equities, derivatives, interest rate swaps, FX spot, options, futures, credit derivatives, commodities, and fixed income instruments.

9. Proactively take responsibility beyond assigned tasks to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies in all trade and operational activities.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA) or Master’s Degree (M.Com, MBA, PGDM) from a recognized institution.

2. 0–2 years of experience in investment banking operations, project management, client interaction, or process management.

3. Basic knowledge of finance, investment banking processes, trade lifecycle, and derivatives.

4. Strong logical and quantitative abilities to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.

5. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

6. Effective communication skills to listen, comprehend, and share information with key stakeholders.

7. Proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks to maintain operational excellence.

8. Ability to work collaboratively within teams while also demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving.

9. Familiarity with financial products, capital markets operations, and regulatory reporting is a plus.

10. Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to changing operational environments and technologies.
