Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time embedded software and device drivers for Qualcomm’s advanced chipset platforms.

• Contribute to software architecture and module development across Android, Windows Mobile, and Linux systems.

• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate and optimize software for next-generation devices.

• Work on wireless modem technologies, including 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and emerging connectivity standards.

• Participate in multimedia software stack, firmware, and driver development for audio, video, and image processing.

• Engage in protocol stack development for communication standards such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, and TCP/IP.

• Develop and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) and kernel-level components for embedded platforms.

• Implement object-oriented programming principles in C/C++ to create scalable, maintainable codebases.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and contribute to design discussions, documentation, and reviews.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related engineering disciplines.

• Strong programming experience in C and C++, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.

• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Android, Windows) and kernel-level programming fundamentals.

• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and system architecture concepts.

• Understanding of wireless communication technologies such as 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth is highly desirable.

• Exposure to network protocols like TCP, UDP, IP, SIP, and RTP will be an added advantage.

• Experience or coursework in multimedia technologies including audio, video, and imaging processing.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.
