Amazon Emerging Stores SX (EMSX) team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join its dynamic operations in Karnataka. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to derive actionable insights from complex datasets, helping drive informed business decisions. The position requires a strong understanding of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools, along with the ability to interpret patterns, trends, and anomalies across multiple data sources. By providing accurate, timely, and relevant insights, you will help optimize business processes, monitor KPIs, and enhance the operational efficiency of Amazon’s self-serve listings.

As a Data Analyst on the EMSX team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, metrics, and reports that empower managers to make data-driven decisions. You will collaborate closely with program managers, business stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions. This role demands proficiency in extracting and manipulating data, performing complex analyses, and presenting insights in a clear, business-friendly manner.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Retrieve, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business decisions.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and ongoing metrics for monitoring key business performance indicators.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-backed solutions.

• Analyze behaviors, processes, and data integrity to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.

• Manage onboarding, access, and data management processes for Premium Seller partners.

• Utilize SQL and Excel to extract, clean, and manipulate data for detailed analysis.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize operations and improve business outcomes.

• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs are monitored, updated, and communicated effectively.

• Support projects aimed at enhancing business efficiency through automation, analytics, and reporting improvements.

• Prepare presentations and visualizations to communicate analytical findings to business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or operations planning.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.

• Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and building new DW tables is preferred.

• Experience with programming or statistical analysis using R or Python is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data logically and succinctly.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Expected Salary

For a Data Analyst in Amazon EMSX, Karnataka, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹7.5 LPA and ₹12.0 LPA, depending on experience, technical skills, and project exposure.
