Job Description:
EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is looking for an Associate Software Engineer (DET) to join its dynamic Consulting Technology team in Bengaluru. This role offers an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals to work on cutting-edge projects in areas such as Digital Technologies, Testing Services, Data & Analytics, SAP, Oracle, Cybersecurity, and Emerging Technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the design, development, and testing of technology-driven solutions across EY projects.

2. Support full software development lifecycle activities, ensuring best practices and quality standards.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital transformation initiatives.

4. Work on programming tasks using Java, .Net, Python, and database technologies like SQL, Oracle, Teradata.

5. Assist in Data & Analytics projects involving AI, ML, and cloud-based solutions.

6. Contribute to testing services, including functional, technical, and process-based testing.

7. Engage in risk assessment and contribute to cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance-related projects.

8. Document technical specifications, reports, and testing outcomes for project stakeholders.

9. Actively learn new tools, technologies, and frameworks relevant to EY consulting practices.

10. Demonstrate problem-solving, analytical, and innovative thinking in every project task.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Qualification: BE/B.Tech (IT, Computer Science, or Circuit branches).

2. Academic: Minimum 60% throughout academics, with no active backlogs.

3. Knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, .Net, Python.

4. Familiarity with data analytics tools and databases such as SQL, Oracle, Teradata.

5. Strong understanding of software development best practices and SDLC.

6. Internship or project experience in a technology domain will be an added advantage.

7. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

8. Passion for digital technologies, innovation, and collaborative work environments.

9. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and project requirements.

10. Detail-oriented, with a proactive and agile mindset.

Expected Salary:
An Associate Software Engineer – DET at EY GDS (Bengaluru) can expect an annual package in the range of ₹4.2 – ₹6.8 LPA, depending on academic performance, skills, and internship/project experience.
