As an SDE Frontend Intern, you'll be a hands-on engineer in a world-class dev team, building scalable frontend solutions that empower millions. You’ll tackle complex engineering challenges using cutting-edge tech, translating vision into reality, and enhancing how people trade and invest daily Lever.
This internship is a golden opportunity to sharpen your frontend development skills, particularly in React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, while deepening your understanding of data structures and algorithms. You'll be infused into a fast-paced product engineering environment—creating tangible impact and learning how technology transforms financial experiences at scale Lever.
Roles & Responsibilities

Craft and implement responsive frontend features using React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Tackle complex problems with solid engineering principles and logical rigor.

Integrate modern tools, technologies, and methodologies to innovate within the platform.

Iterate on feedback, align to internal best practices, and refine your solutions for usability and performance.

Collaborate across teams—working with UX, backend, and product—to build holistic user experiences.

Develop clean, maintainable code that scales as the platform grows.

Debug, optimize, and ensure high performance of frontend applications.

Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and agile workflows.

Assist with basic SQL querying to support feature development and debugging.

Stay curious—experiment with new tools and techniques to bring fresh perspectives.
Requirements & Eligibility

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or a related field).

Proficient in React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for frontend development.

Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.

Keen interest in frontend engineering and building seamless user experiences.

SQL exposure is a bonus—helps in data-driven debugging and feature development.

Ability to start immediately and commit to a 6-month full-time internship.

Expected Salary
Internship stipends at Upstox typically range between ₹25,000 and ₹45,000 per month, depending on skill set, academic background, and interview performance. Beyond compensation, this role offers invaluable hands-on experience, mentorship, and deep exposure to fintech engineering at scale.
