Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement features that power Upstox’s trading and investment platforms.

2. Solve complex engineering problems using robust programming techniques and best practices.

3. Contribute to the front-end development stack with React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

4. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior developers to translate business needs into scalable code.

5. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards.

6. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for web-based applications.

7. Integrate customer feedback and apply best practices to improve platform usability and performance.

8. Learn and experiment with new tools, frameworks, and technologies to drive innovation.

9. Assist in database-related tasks, with exposure to SQL for managing and analyzing structured data.

10. Participate in code reviews, agile sprints, and collaborative sessions to enhance development workflows.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields.

2. Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, with demonstrable problem-solving skills.

3. Frontend Proficiency: Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

4. Analytical Thinking: Ability to approach complex technical problems with structured reasoning.

5. Database Knowledge: Exposure to SQL for querying and data management is considered a plus.

6. Coding Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for writing code and building impactful products.

7. Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

8. Internship Duration: Availability for a 6-month full-time internship starting immediately.

9. Adaptability: Willingness to learn quickly and apply new technologies or methods in fast-paced projects.

Expected Salary

As an SDE Intern at Upstox, the stipend typically ranges between ₹25,000 and ₹45,000 per month, depending on skills, interview performance, and educational background.
