Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services and digital transformation, is seeking an Automation & Manual Testing Trainer to mentor and upskill fresh associates. As part of Capgemini’s Learning & Development team, you will be responsible for delivering structured training programs, creating courseware, conducting assessments, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for fresher batches. The ideal candidate will be someone with hands-on testing expertise across tools like Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, JMeter, UFT, and Jenkins, coupled with strong communication and leadership skills to inspire trainees.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct technical training and assessments for fresher batches in manual and automation testing.

• Mentor and guide fresh associates to ensure strong understanding of testing principles and tools.

• Design and develop training courseware, artifacts, and hands-on exercises.

• Collaborate with Learning & Development (LnD), Business Units, and external stakeholders to coordinate training programs.

• Deliver sessions on manual testing concepts, defect reporting, JIRA, Agile methodologies, and automation tools.

• Implement program assessment protocols to evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.

• Monitor trainee performance, provide feedback, and ensure achievement of program goals and objectives.

• Prepare reports and presentations for management on training progress and quality outcomes.

• Manage program risks, resolve training challenges, and ensure smooth execution of training plans.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of training methodologies and content.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1–2 years of experience as a Developer / Tester / QA professional.

• Strong knowledge of manual testing principles, agile processes, and defect management tools.

• Hands-on expertise in:

  • Selenium with Java, Python, or C# (with BDD frameworks – Cucumber, PyBehave, Specflow).

  • Appium for mobile testing.

  • API Testing (Java RestAssured, Postman).

  • Performance Testing (JMeter).

  • Continuous Integration tools (Git, Jenkins).

  • UFT automation framework.

  • Basic knowledge of Oracle fundamentals, HTML5, JavaScript.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

• Confident, energetic, and willing to work as a full-time trainer.

Expected Salary
