Job Description

With 5–7 years of testing experience, the ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in system testing, FTPC Val, automation frameworks, and Tricentis Tosca.

This role involves leading testing initiatives, documenting processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple business domains to deliver robust, efficient, and innovative testing solutions. Candidates with experience in COTS Products (LS R&D) and Research & Development projects will be given preference.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Oversee documentation for system testing, automation, and validation processes.

• Execute FTPC Val and automated testing to enhance efficiency.

• Design, build, and manage automated test cases in Tricentis Tosca.

• Implement TOSCA best practices to strengthen automation testing frameworks.

• Collaborate with product and development teams to align testing strategies with business goals.

• Identify, track, and resolve software defects in collaboration with developers.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, testing methodologies, and QA standards.

• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and technologies.

• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Support adoption of emerging testing tools to maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 5–7 years of professional experience in software testing & quality assurance.

• Strong expertise in System Testing, FTPC Val, and Automated Testing.

• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation tool.

• Proven ability to create and maintain detailed test documentation.

• Knowledge of COTS Products (LS R&D) and prior exposure to R&D projects is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

• Continuous learner with interest in new testing trends and technologies.

Certifications Required

• ✅ ISTQB Certified Tester

• ✅ Tricentis Tosca Certification

Expected Salary

For a Senior Testing Analyst at Cognizant in India, the salary typically ranges from ₹12 LPA – ₹18 LPA, depending on skills and experience. Globally, similar roles command between $90,000 – $120,000 annually.
