Location: Pune, India – Extentia Tower
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
The DevOps Lead will provide technical guidance and drive improvements in development and deployment processes. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring timely delivery of software features while meeting performance, quality, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor outsourced or offshore DevOps teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to best practices.

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines in production and staging environments using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar tools.
-
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
-
Ensure security, networking, and system administration standards are met in all deployments.

Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to optimize software delivery and reliability.

Monitor cloud costs, implement optimization strategies, and manage cloud billing.

Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, Agile methodologies, and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

6+ years of experience leading DevOps teams.

Expertise in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.

Strong experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.

Proficiency in version control systems: Git.
-
Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.

Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
Good-to-Have Qualifications & Skills:

Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.

Knowledge of cost optimization and cloud billing management.
-
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
