Mastercard – Test Automation Manager

Lead a team of QA engineers to ensure reliability, scalability, and high-quality delivery of Mastercard’s Priceless Platform. Focus on test automation, CI/CD pipelines, SRE practices, and cloud-native infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5+ QA engineers in test automation, functional automation, performance testing, and infrastructure automation.

• Hands-on implementation of automation frameworks, load testing, chaos engineering, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines across multiple languages and frameworks.

• Participate in technical design reviews, code quality checks, and SRE practices for resilience and reliability.

• Shape performance and scalability testing, incident response playbooks, and post-mortem analyses.

• Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and observability for critical systems.

• Support production systems on a rotating on-call basis.

• Continuously adopt emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance SRE and test automation practices.

• Manage test environments, test data, and infrastructure to enable comprehensive testing.

Required Experience & Skills

• 9+ years of experience in software engineering, automation testing, mobile automation, and distributed application testing.

• Hands-on AWS/Cloud engineering expertise in developing, deploying, and securing services.

• Experience with automation/configuration management, deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, A/B testing, feature flags).

• Proficient in code quality metrics and improving software development productivity (e.g., code churn, commit size, test coverage).

• Strong skills in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, monitoring, and logging.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
