Citi is seeking a highly-skilled AVP Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium. The role focuses on automation of both UI and API testing in the Investment Banking Front Office Trading Systems domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and framework libraries for UI and API testing.

  • Participate in Delivery Feature Teams for impact analysis of design and implementation.

  • Define test plans and test cases for functional and end-to-end testing.

  • Drive in-sprint automation of feature deliveries and champion automation best practices.

  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and manage fix/retest cycles.

  • Produce test reports communicating delivery health to stakeholders.

  • Mitigate rollout risk via runbook reviews.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

  • Troubleshoot issues with Linux, containers, virtualization, and storage environments.

  • Mentor team members on technical and domain-related queries.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the eComm QA team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven QA experience in Front Office Trading Systems.

  • Strong hands-on QA automation skills (UI and API).

  • Proficiency in Java programming.

  • Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for UI automation.

  • Experience with developing stubs and drivers.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity.

  • Experience with Cucumber automation frameworks.

  • Familiarity with ALM, Zephyr, Jira, Confluence, OpenShift, Splunk.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills / Nice to Have

  • Experience with Single Dealer Platforms.

  • Exposure to FX and local market systems.
