Intern + Software Engineer (Post Conversion) – MakeMyTrip

📍 Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore, India
🏢 Company: MakeMyTrip (MMT)
🎓 Eligibility: Campus Freshers – B.Tech/BE
💰 Expected Stipend (Internship): ₹40,000 – ₹60,000/month
💼 CTC on Conversion (Full-time): ₹14 – ₹20 LPA (based on previous campus trends)
🕒 Employment Type: Internship + Full-time (Post successful evaluation)

About the Role

MakeMyTrip is hiring high-potential Software Engineering Interns who will transition into full-time Software Engineers upon successful performance. This is an opportunity to join a tech-first company redefining the travel industry with AI, machine learning, and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to high-impact projects during your internship involving cutting-edge technologies.

  • Design and implement scalable software solutions in areas such as booking systems, payments, and user personalization.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile, fast-paced setup.

  • Work with technologies like Java, Python, Golang, ReactJS, or others relevant to the project.

  • Get exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, and other AI frameworks.

  • On successful internship completion, transition into a full-time software engineer.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pursuing a B.Tech/BE in:

    • Computer Science (CSE)

    • Information Technology (IT)

    • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

    • Mathematics & Computing

  • Minimum CGPA of 8 or equivalent.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Design.

  • Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, Golang, ReactJS.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.

  • Good understanding of system design and development practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • Prior exposure to at least one of the following:

    • Generative AI

    • Large Language Models (LLMs)

    • LangChain

    • General understanding or projects in the AI/ML domain
