Dentsu – Senior QA Analyst – Software Testing

Dentsu is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our growing QA team. If you are a detail-oriented manual tester with a foundational understanding of automation tools, we want you! 🧠 Key Responsibilities:

🔍 Manual Testing:

• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing based on detailed test plans and acceptance criteria

• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability flaws

• Log, track, and verify defects through tools like JIRA or TestRail

• Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough test coverage

• Conduct sanity and smoke tests before deployments

🤖 Basic Automation:

• Assist in developing and maintaining automated regression test scripts (Selenium, Cypress preferred)

• Execute and monitor existing automation test suites

• Collaborate with the automation team to integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines

📝 Test Documentation & Process:

• Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports

• Review feature specifications and user stories to develop appropriate test strategies

• Participate in all Agile ceremonies including scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives

💬 Collaboration & Communication:

• Work across QA, development, and product teams to improve software quality

• Proactively share testing insights and enhancement recommendations

• Maintain visibility on testing progress and risk reporting

🛠 Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing

• Solid grasp of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA best practices

• Basic experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, etc.

• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git

• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

💰 Salary Expectations:
Based on the industry data and role-specific benchmarks in Chennai and Bengaluru, the estimated salary range is:
₹6,50,000 – ₹10,00,000 per annum, depending on experience, automation knowledge, and project exposure.
