As a Lead Engineer, you will take full ownership of modules ensuring the highest standards of quality and timely delivery. You will guide and mentor junior engineers, perform deep-dive analysis of issues, and deliver effective solutions while collaborating with diverse teams. Your expertise in protocol stack testing, automation frameworks, and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools will be invaluable to our mission of delivering next-generation technology solutions.

🎯 Responsibilities:

• Conduct requirement analysis, feasibility studies, and provide accurate system-level work estimations.

• Design, code, test, debug, document, and support software in assigned areas ensuring adherence to quality and productivity goals.

• Ensure traceability from design to delivery while optimizing code and maintaining high coverage.

• Conduct reviews, identify risks, and own the quality of deliverables.

• Identify training needs within the team, provide guidance, and act as a technical mentor to junior members.

• Enhance technical capabilities through continuous learning, trainings, and participation in technical initiatives.

• Lead the preparation of test plans and execution of test cases using automation frameworks.

• Analyze logs, debug issues, and drive resolution as part of regression testing.

• Interface with network equipment manufacturers (Ericsson, Nokia, Alcatel Lucent) for interoperability testing.

🛠 Required Skills & Experience:

• Engineering graduate (BE/B.Tech) or MCA with 5-8 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive experience in modem/UE protocol stack testing for 2G/3G/LTE/5G technologies.

• Deep understanding of 3GPP specifications, RAT (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G), Layer 2/3 protocols, NAS layer from UE and core network.

• Proficient in test automation using scripting languages like Perl, Python, Shell, TCL, TTCN.

• Strong command over tools such as QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Prism, Anritsu, Keysight, and familiarity with trace/log collection, flashing, and core dump analysis tools.

• Expertise in platforms such as Linux host and experience with both internal and customer-specific platforms.

• Familiarity with test scripting tools like RTD (for Anritsu) or equivalent.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to organize complex ideas into implementable solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with proven experience leading and mentoring teams.
