Bank of America is seeking a self-motivated Quality Specialist to join its Global Business Services division in Mumbai. This individual contributor role requires a proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver top-notch software features and subsystems.
🎯 Responsibilities:

Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in each sprint according to acceptance criteria.

Participate in test case reviews and ensure necessary updates are made.

Build and use test data to execute test cases effectively.
-
Execute manual and automated test cases, documenting test results.
-
Report issues and defects with complete background information for review.

Collaborate with developers to reproduce, detail, and document reported defects.
🛠 Required Skills & Experience:

BE/B-Tech or ME/M-Tech in IT/CS specialization preferred.

3 to 5 years of experience in software testing, including test planning, execution, and defect management.

Knowledge of test management tools such as ALM and JIRA.
-
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint to create executive-level presentations.

Proficient understanding of risk assessment, monitoring, and various testing methodologies.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
-
ISTQB CTFL certification is required.

Desired experience in agile testing, regression testing, and familiarity with the Wealth Management and Retirement domain.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
