Job Description

We are seeking a Junior-Mid Level Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team operating in an agile development environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software testing methodologies, experience with browser dev tools and Postman, and proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, Cypress frontend automation, Python, and C#.

You Will:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance thoroughly
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing of web-based applications, APIs, and backend services
Utilize browser development tools and Postman to inspect and troubleshoot web applications, APIs, and HTTP requests/responses
Develop automated tests using Python and C# to streamline the testing process and enhance test coverage
Identify, report, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems such as JIRA and work with the development team to resolve them promptly
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the software testing process and advocate for best practices in testing methodologies and tools
You’ll Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience with proficiency in testing web applications and RESTful APIs
Experience using browser development tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) and API testing tools like Postman
Programming experience in Python and C# for test automation and scripting
Familiarity with test frameworks such as Cypress, PyTest, or NUnit
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Self-motivated with a passion for software quality and continuous improvement
