Job Description
Understand and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
Design and execute test cases for Salesforce applications, covering UI and backend validation.
Perform detailed manual testing of Salesforce modules.
Validate data integrity across Salesforce and integrated systems.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar, validating request/response formats, headers, status codes, etc.
Participate in defect triage meetings and work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.
Responsibilities
3+ years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications. Hands-on experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools. Good understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and common objects (e.g., Leads, Opportunities, Cases). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Familiarity with SOQL/SOSL and ability to query Salesforce data for testing. Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams. Basic knowledge of test management tools like Jira.
