Job Description

Qualitest Group is looking for an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to support its ongoing CCAP Project Initiative. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and executing functional and automated test suites for critical financial applications, including Loan Origination, Point of Sale (POS), and Products & Servicing functionalities. Your work will help ensure seamless delivery, superior product quality, and a smooth customer experience for end-users in a highly regulated industry.

This position involves creating and maintaining a robust automation framework using AccelQ, implementing regression and smoke test automation suites, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of test scenarios. You will also work with API automation, integrate automation efforts with CI/CD pipelines, and use project management tools like JIRA to track progress, defects, and execution status.

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, identify process improvements, and champion best practices for test automation. Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework using AccelQ tailored for CCAP project applications.

• Develop and execute regression and smoke test suites to ensure application stability across Loan Origination, POS, and Servicing modules.

• Perform API testing and automation to validate integration points and data flows between core systems.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to identify test scenarios and ensure coverage of functional requirements.

• Execute functional, regression, and smoke tests in alignment with sprint cycles and release schedules.

• Track and manage test cases, defects, and progress using JIRA and provide regular test status reports.

• Partner with QE and DevOps teams to integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation.

• Investigate, analyze, and document defects with detailed steps for reproducibility.

• Continuously enhance test automation processes, identifying opportunities to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring junior team members, and driving test automation best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience: 4–8 years in QA automation with strong expertise in test automation design and execution.

• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with AccelQ (4/5 proficiency preferred), API testing tools, and automation scripting.

• Tools & Frameworks: Strong knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking, test case management, and project progress reporting.

• Domain Knowledge: Experience working on financial applications such as Loan Origination, POS, or servicing platforms is highly desirable.

• Automation Expertise: Ability to create modular, reusable, and maintainable test scripts that scale with project growth.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and debugging skills to identify root causes and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with distributed teams across geographies.

• Process Understanding: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and end-to-end testing lifecycle.

• Bonus Skills: Exposure to CI/CD tools and test reporting dashboards for automation metrics is a plus.

Expected Salary

For a Senior Automation Test Engineer role at Qualitest Group in India, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹10–18 LPA, depending on experience, AccelQ expertise, and API testing proficiency. Candidates with deep financial domain knowledge and hands-on experience with automation frameworks may receive higher compensation within this range.
