Job Description

NTT DATA is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join its growing analytics team. In this role, you will work with large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams to translate requirements into meaningful analytical solutions.

As a Data Analyst, you will leverage SQL, Python, and Power BI to perform data extraction, transformation, visualization, and reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of data accuracy and integrity, automating repetitive data tasks, and communicating insights through clear dashboards, reports, and presentations. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with data end-to-end and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business decision-making.

• Write, optimize, and validate SQL queries to extract and aggregate data from multiple sources.

• Use Python for data cleaning, transformation, automation, and advanced analytics.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including DAX calculations and KPIs.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate summary statistics for stakeholders.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation and quality checks.

• Automate recurring data processes using Python scripts and scheduling tools.

• Document analytical workflows using Jupyter notebooks or similar environments.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

• Present insights clearly through reports, dashboards, and visual storytelling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).

• Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation and DAX calculations.

• Experience using Jupyter notebooks or similar tools for interactive analysis.

• Solid understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and preparation techniques.

• Ability to perform statistical analysis and interpret results effectively.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a 2 PM – 11 PM IST shift.

Good to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or cloud-based analytics platforms.

• Exposure to enterprise-scale data environments and large datasets.
