The QA & Testing Engineer works with the test team to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that applications meet business requirements and maintain Deutsche Bank’s high quality standards. The QA & Testing Engineer takes a lead role in the establishment or execution of one or more test specialties for a larger testing unit or programme.
The QA & Testing Engineer identifies the tasks and resources needed to ensure that their specialised portion of the testing process meets software quality requirements prior to release into a live environment. The QA & Testing Engineer may specialise in a specific area of the testing process such as test automation, performance testing, testing process, test environments, test data provisioning. In this context the QA & Testing Engineer will specialise in relevant tools such as Performance Centre, Quick Test Professional, Quality Centre/ALM and Jira.
Alternately the QA and Testing Engineer may possess or demonstrate specialist Business Testing knowledge or exceptional business/functional expertise.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests. Test automation engineers’ duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. You should also be committed to developing skills to provide up-to-date solutions. Proficiency in programming language Java, Selenium with API testing. Creating an automation test plan and getting approval Identifying and selecting the automation test cases Designing and developing test automation scripts. Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE) to set it up Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Should be able to design the automation framework Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases Collating and monitoring the defect management process Managing the changes and executing regression tests Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation Experience in Agile practices (SCRUM). Close Coordination & Collaboration with Internal Stakeholder/ External Stakeholders and Vendors Strong Logical Aptitude to understand the overall Application and root out the gaps wherein required Good Questioning skills to understand the Root Cause of the request
