💻 Role Overview

As a Test Engineer I, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products meet quality standards before release. You’ll support both manual and automated testing efforts while learning from experienced engineers on live projects.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret module definitions or design documents to create detailed test scripts and datasets.

• Perform both automated and manual test executions for functional, application, regression, and integration testing.

• Maintain automation scripts and manual test suites based on project needs.

• Log, track, and document bugs and results using test and defect management tools.

• Assist in preparing and executing system integration test plans and procedures.

• Keep detailed records of test progress and final outcomes.

• Support in deploying new or upgraded hardware, software, and networking systems.

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Understanding of basic testing techniques and software quality assurance principles.

• Familiarity with manual testing, test automation, or test scripting (any exposure to tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc. is a plus).

• Exposure to Test Management Tools and/or Defect Tracking Systems.

• Ability to read and understand software requirements and technical documentation.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing tools and practices.

• Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication.

🌟 Bonus Skills (Preferred)

• Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript).

• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.

• Previous internship or project experience in QA or DevOps.

• Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
