We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of applications in a large-scale Application Modernization project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manual testing processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Validate application functionality against business requirements and technical specifications.
Provide clear and concise test results and reports to stakeholders.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ALM Octane, JIRA, Bugzilla).
Knowledge of API testing tools like Ready API, Postman.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in Application Modernization projects.
Basic understanding of automation and performance testing tools and frameworks.
ISTQB certification or equivalent is a bonus.
