Job Description:
StoneX Group Inc., a Fortune 100 global financial services provider, is inviting aspiring technologists to join its QA Automation Apprenticeship Program within the Global Payments division. This immersive, hands-on experience provides young engineers and computer science students with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge fintech platforms that power international payment systems. As part of a cross-functional global team, you’ll gain first-hand exposure to software testing, automation, and continuous integration while helping to maintain the reliability and performance of StoneX’s payment solutions.
During this 6-month apprenticeship, you’ll collaborate with senior QA engineers, developers, and business analysts to transform business requirements into testable automation frameworks. You’ll get the chance to work on real production systems, contribute to quality gates, security scans, and performance benchmarking, and play an active role in ensuring StoneX’s products meet the highest standards of excellence. The apprenticeship is designed to give you a strong foundation in quality engineering and the global payments ecosystem — a perfect launchpad for a full-time role post-graduation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with delivery teams to implement QA automation standards, testing best practices, and continuous improvement processes.

Assist in defining and maintaining quality gates such as code coverage, security scans, and performance benchmarks across multiple projects.

Participate in end-to-end software testing, including unit, integration, performance, and regression testing.

Design and execute automated test cases using relevant frameworks to ensure code reliability and system integrity.

Work closely with global QA teams to identify, document, and resolve defects, ensuring smooth software releases.

Support continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD) and contribute to automation improvements in QA workflows.

Collaborate with developers to understand architecture and identify testing strategies that enhance system scalability and availability.

Engage in cross-team knowledge sharing and promote a culture of quality-first thinking within engineering teams.

Participate in internal discussions, documentation updates, and training sessions focused on testing tools and automation techniques.

Uphold data confidentiality and organizational standards while managing QA artifacts and sensitive project data.
Requirements & Eligibility:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university.

Expected graduation by July–August 2026 and available for a full-time apprenticeship starting January 2026.

Strong foundational knowledge in Front-End technologies like ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with Back-End development using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and MongoDB.

Exposure to cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, for application deployment and monitoring.

Understanding of QA automation concepts, testing methodologies, and SDLC principles.

Awareness of AI/ML integration in testing or exposure to tools like AIML or Agentic AI will be an advantage.

Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and a detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.

Ability to work effectively in hybrid environments (minimum four days in office) and within global teams.

A positive, curious, and proactive attitude with the confidence to experiment, learn, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Expected Salary:
Apprentices at StoneX India can expect a competitive stipend ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month, depending on educational background and technical skill level.
