Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust automated test cases based on functional and non-functional software requirements.

• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and log defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessment.

• Collaborate with developers and QA peers to refine test strategies and ensure early defect detection.

• Maintain, refactor, and optimize existing automation scripts to improve reliability, reusability, and test coverage.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster feedback cycles.

• Participate in test case and test strategy reviews, providing constructive input to improve overall quality outcomes.

• Conduct basic performance and load testing activities to identify bottlenecks and stability risks.

• Troubleshoot automation failures and framework issues, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery timelines.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of detailed test plans, scenarios, and execution reports.

• Provide recommendations for improving automation tools, frameworks, and quality engineering practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in software test automation within agile or DevOps-driven environments.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.

• Practical understanding of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.

• Basic experience with performance and load testing concepts and tools.

• Hands-on experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and identify patterns, risks, and improvement areas.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to shared quality goals.

• Willingness to work in a hybrid model and appear onsite when required as part of project or recruitment processes.
