Wipro is hiring for the role of Quality Assurance (QA) Lead – L2, a critical leadership position within their Pune operations. This role is tailored for professionals who excel at ensuring quality compliance, driving process improvements, and leading internal audits to uphold high delivery standards. As a QA Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in training, reporting, auditing, and team development β€” all within a dynamic global IT service environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive quality control through regular process audits across teams

  • Monitor and ensure proper execution of audit plans aligned with SOPs

  • Track error trends, prepare performance reports, and share with internal leadership & clients

  • Develop and lead corrective action strategies including training modules

  • Facilitate onboarding and skill assessment for new or expanding processes

  • Collaborate with delivery heads and stakeholders to maintain compliance for CMMI and external audits

  • Lead training initiatives using diverse delivery methods (in-person, virtual)

  • Manage audit documentation, compliance registers, and SOP development

  • Promote employee engagement, reduce attrition, and drive team satisfaction

  • Handle end-to-end performance management, feedback, and career growth plans

  • Ensure consistent reporting and communication with all key stakeholders

Requirement & Eligibility

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a leadership or L2 role

  • Strong understanding of audit frameworks, compliance protocols, and SOP development

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, especially with clients and stakeholders

  • Experience in designing and delivering team training sessions

  • Capability in handling large QA teams and managing talent development

  • Familiarity with CMMI audits or equivalent compliance models is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvements

  • Willingness to be based out of Pune and work on-site with cross-functional teams
