Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an agile Scrum team to plan, execute, and optimize manual and automated testing activities across multiple software modules.

• Design and develop reusable test automation frameworks and code libraries to accelerate testing cycles for new and existing projects.

• Build and maintain comprehensive regression test suites to ensure software stability after every code enhancement or release.

• Conduct functional, UI, and API testing to validate both front-end and back-end system components.

• Execute performance and load tests using tools like JMeter to ensure scalability and responsiveness under peak conditions.

• Engage in requirement analysis and provide feedback to developers and product owners to enhance software design and functionality.

• Manage and maintain test environments, ensuring they reflect production-like configurations for accurate results.

• Integrate test scripts with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster delivery cycles.

• Participate in defect triage meetings, root cause analysis, and post-release quality reviews.

• Support customers and internal teams by analyzing reported issues, reproducing bugs, and validating fixes in a timely manner.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience: Minimum 6 years in software testing, with proven expertise in both functional and automation testing across enterprise applications.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, Maven, and REST Assured or Karate for API automation.

• Framework Development: Ability to design, develop, and maintain modular automation frameworks adaptable to multiple projects and technologies.

• Programming Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Java, Python, SQL, and Shell scripting for automation and data validation.

• Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git for source code management and collaborative workflow.

• Database Testing: Deep understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation and backend verification.

• Testing Tools: Proficient in JIRA, TestRail, and JMeter, with hands-on experience managing test cases and performance testing scenarios.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong grasp of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC processes, and test project management principles.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities to work effectively in cross-functional global teams.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Expected Salary

For experienced QA professionals with 6+ years of experience in Pune, the typical salary range at Quest Global is between ₹10,00,000 – ₹16,00,000 per annum, depending on expertise in automation tools, framework design, and performance testing. Candidates with advanced scripting and CI/CD integration skills may command salaries at the higher end of this range.
