Job Description:
Quest Global is looking for a talented and dedicated QA Automation Engineer (Selenium) to join its high-performing Quality Engineering team in Pune. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks that drive software excellence across multiple projects. As a core member of the automation team, you’ll leverage technologies like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven, and REST Assured/Karate to ensure seamless test coverage, reliability, and product stability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on tester who thrives on solving complex challenges and improving testing efficiency through automation.

In this position, you’ll work with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to plan and execute comprehensive automation strategies across web, API, and backend systems. You’ll play a key role in building and enhancing reusable frameworks, ensuring test scalability, and integrating automation pipelines into CI/CD systems. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks and reusable libraries for multiple project teams.

• Implement automated testing solutions using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven, and REST Assured/Karate.

• Collaborate with developers and QA leads to plan, prioritize, and execute automation strategies aligned with project goals.

• Perform functional, regression, and API testing, ensuring complete coverage across environments.

• Maintain test scripts in version control tools such as Git, ensuring consistent and trackable updates.

• Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.

• Monitor QA effectiveness, identify improvement areas, and introduce process enhancements across SDLC/STLC.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality alignment.

• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter and share reports for system optimization.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

• Strong working knowledge of TestNG framework, Maven build tools, and REST Assured/Karate for API testing.

• Experience in designing automation solutions and maintaining reusable frameworks.

• Familiarity with scripting/programming in Java, Python, SQL, or Shell Script.

• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.

• Experience using test management tools like JIRA and TestRail for reporting and tracking.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Expected Salary:
