Job Description:
DWS is seeking a skilled QA Automation – AS professional to join its Quality Assurance team in Pune or Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that applications and technical products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks that validate software functionalities and workflows, driving consistency and efficiency across the QA process.

As part of a fast-paced and dynamic team, you will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to create automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and complex systems. Your work will directly contribute to the seamless delivery of enterprise-grade applications, support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and enhance overall product reliability.

In addition to test automation, you will participate in performance, load, and stress testing, helping to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance. You will also stay abreast of emerging testing technologies, frameworks, and best practices, ensuring that DWS’s QA processes remain innovative and robust.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and frameworks like Serenity BDD and Cucumber.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and translate requirements into automation test cases.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous testing and deployment.

  • Execute performance, load, and stress tests to validate system reliability and scalability under varying conditions.

  • Conduct code reviews for test scripts and provide feedback on best practices, maintainability, and efficiency.

  • Analyze test results, log defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain high-quality test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.

  • Validate APIs, web services, and database interactions, including SQL queries and Big Data validations.

  • Utilize messaging queues (MQ) and streaming platforms (Kafka) for integration and end-to-end testing.

  • Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and adopt emerging tools and methodologies.

Requirements & Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, with strong expertise in Java and automation frameworks such as Serenity BDD, Cucumber, or Gatling.

  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and build tools (Gradle).

  • Experience in API and web service testing, as well as database testing (SQL, RDBMS, Big Data).

  • Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools such as Cucumber or JBehave.

  • Familiarity with messaging queues (MQ) and streaming platforms like Kafka.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications are advantageous.

Expected Salary:
QA Automation professionals at DWS in Pune or Bangalore can expect a competitive salary range of ₹10 LPA – ₹18 LPA, depending on experience and technical expertise.
