Become an integral part of PTC’s Quality Assurance team in Pune, contributing to the delivery of robust, high-quality digital solutions using Playwright automation. As a QA Specialist – Playwright, you will design and execute rigorous test strategies that encompass functional, integration, and regression testing—ensuring enterprise-grade software that bridges physical and digital environments. In this role, you’ll author and maintain automated test scripts for Web UI using Playwright (and potentially other tools), integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and track key QA metrics to drive continuous quality improvement. Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you'll help shape release readiness and influence faster, safer deployments in a high-paced delivery environment. Built In Pune

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and implement comprehensive test plans covering Web UI, functional, and regression scenarios. Built In Pune

• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (and additional frameworks as needed). Built In Pune

• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and Product Managers to shape delivery strategy and ensure product quality. Built In Pune

• Track and report quality metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts, to support quality insights. Built In Pune

• Integrate automated testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Built In Pune

• Support agile development with disciplined QA practices—balancing quality with time-bound releases. Built In Pune

• Stay current with evolving testing tools, methodologies, and domain knowledge to enhance the QA process. Built In Pune

Requirements & Eligibility

• 4–6 years of experience in software quality assurance, including both automation and manual testing. Built In Pune

• Hands-on experience with web UI automation tools—Playwright is preferred; experience with others is a plus. Built In Pune

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and strong understanding of the full SDLC. Built In Pune

• Proficient in using version control systems such as Git or SVN. Built In Pune

• Strong analytical thinking with ability to identify risks and articulate quality concerns clearly. Built In Pune

• Basic working knowledge of Linux OS for test environment setup and execution. Built In Pune

• Excellent communication skills and the adaptability to work within geographically distributed teams. Built In Pune

Expected Salary

For a QA Specialist – Playwright in Pune with 4–6 years of experience, the market-aligned salary typically ranges from ₹15 LPA to ₹25 LPA, subject to technical expertise, domain knowledge, and proven quality delivery capabilities.
