Job Description:
NTT DATA is seeking an experienced and analytical QA Automation – Digital Solution Consultant Sr. Analyst to join its growing consulting and technology services team in Pune. This role is ideal for professionals who have a strong grasp of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and agile processes. The selected candidate will contribute to ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-grade digital solutions that serve global clients. As part of a high-performing QA team, you’ll collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers to define testing strategies and implement automation best practices.

In this position, you’ll take ownership of designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using open-source tools, while also performing manual testing to ensure comprehensive coverage. You’ll play a key role in reviewing requirements, identifying risks, documenting defects, and continuously improving testing processes. The focus will be on maintaining quality standards that align with client needs and industry benchmarks. This role combines technical hands-on testing with solution consulting, enabling you to bridge the gap between technology and business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review software requirements, design specifications, and technical documents to deliver timely and constructive feedback.

• Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and comprehensive test cases for functional and non-functional testing.

• Design, build, and execute automated test scripts using open-source frameworks and tools.

• Perform thorough regression testing to validate software fixes and enhancements.

• Identify, record, and track software defects to ensure resolution and quality compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure complete test coverage.

• Develop and implement effective QA processes for new and existing applications.

• Analyze test results, monitor debugging outcomes, and suggest preventive actions for recurring issues.

• Conduct performance and security testing when required to assess system reliability.

• Stay updated with evolving QA technologies, automation tools, and modern test strategies.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Proven experience in software development and software quality assurance roles.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, automation tools, and testing life cycles.

• Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.

• Hands-on experience in using open-source automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.

• Good working knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and test data validation.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, with active participation in sprint testing activities.

• Exposure to performance testing and security testing practices is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
