🚀 About the Role:

As a Test Automation Manager, you’ll lead a team of engineers driving excellence in automation, site reliability engineering (SRE), and continuous delivery on the Priceless Platform—a high-growth Mastercard ecosystem serving global banking partners.

This is a hands-on managerial role with a focus on performance, resilience, and scale. You will architect automation frameworks, foster SRE culture, ensure system observability, and champion CI/CD integration across Mastercard’s mission-critical systems.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5+ QA engineers

• Drive hands-on implementation of:

  • Functional test automation

  • Performance & load testing

  • Mobile testing (iOS/Android)

  • Infrastructure automation (IAC)

• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines across languages and frameworks

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and chaos engineering exercises

• Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies for high observability

• Enable progressive rollouts and high availability via blue/green and canary deployments

• Create runbooks for incident response and disaster recovery

• Contribute to post-mortems, retrospectives, and reliability strategy

• Maintain test environments, synthetic test data, and performance baselines

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for production support

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in:

  • Test automation & frameworks

  • Mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)

  • AWS Cloud Engineering & DevOps practices

  • Load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)

  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Hands-on with:

  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • Feature flagging, progressive delivery, and observability tools

  • Test data management and test containerization

• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell) and automation tooling

• Strong understanding of SRE principles, incident response, and reliability SLAs

• Effective communicator and proactive leader

• Experience in managing distributed systems and services in production environments

🎓 Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
